My Nana grew up in a family of five people. Her parents had three children. Of the three children, she was the youngest. She had two other siblings, her older Brother and older Sister and two kind and loving parents. They lived in an old house. The house she lived in was her Grandmother's home. She left the home to her son, who was my Nana's Father.
Nana believed that faith greatly impacted and supported her throughout her life. She goes to church very often. It was a guide to her, helped her through many challenges and taught her the right way of life through Chrisitan values and teachings.
She had many sporting hobbies. She played netball, won many running races, and so many other sports, she was one of the most sporty people in her school. Apart from sport, she also had many other hobbies. She enjoyed knitting and cooking, which continues to be her hobbies. She is a very good cook. Within the family he is famous for her delicous beef chops. She also played the gutair for a few years.
I was surprised to learn that she also participated in many plays within her school.
When my Nana was very young, about seven years old, her Uncle gifted her a cocker spaniel puppy. She was overjoyed to have such a cute pet.
Her Grandparents and Parents were extremely loving and caring individuals. Her Father would always encourage her to try many different sports. He was a famous hockey player himeself. he played at an international level, for India. When she was younger he told her alot of stories about his time serving for Britain in the World War in Egypt. He visited many holy Chrisitan places.
She believes that life moves very fast. She thinks that the younger generation is facing lots of competition as well as stress. As she has grown older she has realised that her family; her children, grandchildren and husband, have given her all the love, affection and purpose that a person needs.
